Using My Account
Once you've received your activation email and activated your GCL Diesel online account, simply click on your name on the top right and select 'My Account' to get to the powerful account management features including viewing and approving quotations, downloading sales invoices, and completing core returns.
Main Menu
This will give you a menu of the most commonly used functions including Quotations, Sales Orders, RMA, Invoices & Bills, and Tickets.
Quotations
Click on the Quotations page to view any outstanding quotations.
From here, click on the Quotation # (in this case S00787) to view the quotation.
For Payment Terms requiring Immediate Payment:
If your payment terms require Immediate Payment, choose the button for "Sign and Pay." You will be presented with a pop-up to sign your name (click auto to auto-sign your name). You will then need to provide payment information to confirm your order.
For Customers with Payment Terms:
If you have payment terms with GCL Diesel, you can choose the button for "Accept and Sign". This will present a pop-up with your payment terms and the ability to sign the quote (click auto to auto-sign your name). From here, your quote will be confirmed.
In all cases, you will also have the option to Provide Feedback on the Quotation or Reject It. You can also Download or Print the quotation using the buttons on the side.
By selecting Sign & Pay, you will be presented with a pop-up to sign (you may also click Auto to just have your name auto-signed)
Paying for your Quotation
If you you need to pay for your quotation, click on 'Pay Now' where you can select your payment method. If paying by credit card, you have the option to save your payment details in which case your credit card information will be securely stored and encrypted by the Stripe payment processor. View the 'Saving your Credit Card on File' section of this page for more details.
Please note that if you are paying by credit card, credit card processing fees will automatically be added to your order. You can see the amount of fees before completing payment.
Completing your Stripe Payment
Fill in your payment detail and click the Pay button.
Sales Orders
Click on Sales Orders to see your completed Sales Orders
To view a Sales Order, simply click on the Sales Order number. You may sort your Sales orders by using the drop-down on the right side of the Sales Orders header. On the sales order page you can view your sales order information and download a Sales Order PDF document for your records.
Tracking a Shipment
While viewing a Sale Order, you can see the details of the delivery order including a link to the carrier's tracking information if available. This information is near the bottom of the sale order. B
In the case above, clicking on the tracking number will direct you to the Purolator website with your up-to-date tracking.
Invoices & Bills
On the Invoices & Bills screen, you can see your paid and unpaid invoices, as well as email yourself a statement.
Emailing a Statement
Simply click on the 'Click here to email statement' button to send yourself an email with a statement.
Paying for an Invoice
We can use the Pay button on invoice INV/2025/00380 to quickly pay the invoice using our card on file.
Making a Payment
Another method to make a payment is by using the 'Make a Payment' button under your details on the Main Menu page.
After clicking 'Make a Payment' you will be presented a screen that will let you select your payment method, and whether you wish to make a custom amount payment or to pay an outstanding invoice.
In the screen below, we are going to use our credit card on file (xxxxxxxxx4242), and by using the 'Pay Invoices' radio button under the Amount section we are able to select one or more invoices to pay. Agree to the terms and conditions, click Pay and you're all done!
You can also use the Send Customer Statement link here to send yourself a customer statement by email, and if paying a series of invoices with a custom amount you can upload a spreadsheet or text file of invoices you are paying along with filling in a custom payment amount.
Account Payments
Account Payments will show your list of payments made against one or more invoices.
Click on the Payment Number to view the payment details and linked invoice(s).
Tickets / Contact Us
Tickets are any helpdesk tickets or inquiries made. You can create tickets by emailing us or by using the 'Contact Us' form:
Click on the ticket number to see your communication and a form where you can respond or add further information.
Saving Your Credit Card on File
You have the option to save your payment details in which case your credit card information will be securely stored and encrypted by the Stripe payment processor. GCL Diesel, along with 1.2 million other vendors, have entrusted Stripe with credit card processing for years and they are a safe, secure, and trusted payment processor. Your saved payment method can be used to pay for both online orders and those where you are assisted by a GCL Diesel customer service representative.
Please note that if you are paying by credit card, credit card processing fees will automatically be added to your order. You can see the amount of fees before completing payment.
To save or manage your payment methods, you can either use the 'Save my payment details' checkbox when paying an invoice or click on the Manage payment methods link below the Make a payment button or click here.
Next, click on the +Save Payment Method button. You will be redirected to the Stripe website where you can enter in your credit card details.
After entering in your payment details click on the "Save Card" button.
To delete your saved payment method, simply click on the Delete button next to the card on file.
