At GCL Diesel we take pride in our state of the art test facility. In our test room, all repaired units are tested and calibrated on factory designed and built test benches to ensure they meet manufacturer specifications. With an ever-increasing number of auxiliary devices and electronic components found on today’s generation of injection pumps, precise analysis and calibrating is essential. GCL is constantly investing in new equipment and technology to ensure that we are current with the latest testing and diagnostic devices.

  • Pop tested — the process of testing fuel injectors to see at what pressure they spray fuel. The injectors should pop at the manufacturers recommended pressure so it creates a proper atomized spray pattern.
  • We use fresh, pristine fuel and oil for testing. This test removes the possibility of injector failure due to upstream electrical failure
    (for example: bad FICM, poor oil, lift pump pressure, high pressure oil pump efficiency).

Using our new state-of-the-art EPS 205 Bosch High Pressure Common Rail Test Stand, we are able to quickly and accurate test most common rail injectors.

  • Testing of common rail injectors includes verifying electrical solenoids are working correctly.
  • Our 205 bench will test fuelling at pre-injection, idle, partial load, full load, leak test and 2 emissions points.
  • We use fresh, pristine fuel and oil for testing. This test removes the possibility of injector failure due to upstream electrical failure (for example: bad FICM, poor oil, lift pump pressure, high pressure oil pump efficiency).
  • We carry reseal kits and or o-rings and tip gaskets to reseal injectors after testing
  • Common rail injectors are not repairable.
  • We carry a range of new and replacement remanufactured injectors.

  • We carry reseal kits and or o-rings and tip gaskets to reseal injectors after testing
  • Common rail injectors are not repairable.
  • We carry a range of new and replacement remanufactured injectors.

We can take your pumps and by using our calibrated equipment tell you if they meet OEM specifications. Our various state of the art injection pump test benches will help determine the status of your diesel fuel pump and whether it is good to go or needs a complete overhaul.

If it’s determined that your pump needs an overhaul and rebuild, our professional service technicians can do that using genuine original equipment parts and assemblies. Steps include:

  • Complete disassembly of the unit and subassemblies

  • Cleaning and detailed inspections

  • Missing, worn, or broken parts replaced

  • Complete re-assembly and calibration

  • Completed to OEM Specification on calibrated test benches
